Delhi Lit Fest 2014

As spring slowly inches towards Delhi after cold January, the city is also warming up to celebrate the pleasant weather with a host of literary events.

As if Comic Con and Book Fair were not sufficient to entice Delhiites to take a second look at their reading habits, the Second Delhi Literature Festival is also gearing up to bedazzle the book lovers.

Delhi is hosting the event at Indira Gandhi National Centre of Arts from 7th to 9th Feb 2014. The event will unfold at 5:00 p.m. on 7th Feb and from 11:00 am onwards on 8th and 9th Feb at Auditorium, C.V. Mess, IGNCA. More details at Lit Fest Facebook page.

There will be book launches, dramatic readings and talk shows by eminent authors, poets and playwrights. The Fest would pay a tribute to famous Hindi writer Rajendra Yadav and also focus on Persian Publishing.

The three day event will be inaugurated by M. Veerappa Moily, Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Environment & Forests and would be closed with a lively discussion between Barkha Dutt and Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival.
