Paulo Coelho was born in Brazil in 1947 and reborn as a writer in 1982. Presently, he is one of the most famous spiritual writer, and his own life, ebbing between introversion and protests against leading a restricted traditional life, has the capability to inspire anyone to dream.
As a reader, I found Paulo Coelho’s book literally choked with pearls of wisdom, almost every other word he writes, deserves to be called so. A few of my favorites are:
“Everything that happens once can never happen again. But everything that happens twice will surely happen a third time” The Alchemist
“When you really want something, the universe always conspires in your favor” The Alchemist
“Dreams are the language of God” The Alchemist
“At a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what’s happening to us, and our lives become controlled by fate. That’s the world’s greatest lie” The Alchemist
“If you start out by promising what you don’t even have yet, you’ll lose your desire to work toward getting it” The Alchemist
“Everyone on earth has a treasure that awaits him” The Alchemist
“One dies of thirst just when the palm trees have appeared on the horizon” The Alchemist
“When you possess great treasures within you, and try to tell others of them, seldom are you believed” The Alchemist
